Seeing that, the doctors stopped the fat removal surgery and tried to save his life. He was immediately taken to the intensive care unit. Even that could not save Andrea’s life. Physical examination revealed that the Brazilian influenza had a lung problem called pulmonary embolism. Along with that was the problem of thrombosis.
In this regard, the hospital in Sao Paulo said in a statement, “The surgery was interrupted. Examination revealed that the patient had severe thrombosis. The patient was transferred to the ICU. Hemodynamic treatment was also done.” Andrea was pronounced dead around 5:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Andrea’s death is mourned by her family and boyfriend. Andrea’s boyfriend Joao Haddad wrote on Instagram, “I’m devastated. Everything seems like a nightmare. A part of me no longer exists.” Brazil is mourning the death of this Brazilian model. Brazilian superstar footballer Neymar also expressed his condolences.
