Bankura: Three arrested in connection with the unusual death of a BJP worker. A case of murder has been registered against all three people. The police have arrested a total of 3 people including a woman and produced them in the Bankura district court in connection with the unusual death of BJP worker Shubodeep Mishra alias Deepu Mishra in Nidhirampur village of Ganga Jalghati block of Bankura. The accused have been identified as Debbrata Mishra, Antu Mishra and Sonali Mishra. Three people have been produced in the Bankura District Court. The police have registered a case against the arrested under section 302 murder, section 120B of organized crime and section 201 and 506 of the IPC.

On Wednesday morning, local residents found the body of Subhdeep Mishra alias Dipu Mishra hanging from a tree branch near the village primary school premises. Alleging the murder of Shubdeep Mishra, the family members of the deceased have been protesting since Wednesday.

The body of the BJP worker named Deepu of Bankura was recovered on Wednesday morning with a rope around his neck and both hands tied. In the initial investigation, the police found out that the BJP worker had an extra-marital affair. Suicide because of it. But family members and villagers kept complaining that the BJP worker was murdered and hanged. Because if someone commits suicide, his hands will never be tied behind his back.

Subhendu Adhikari made a post on the X handle after the incident. There he claimed that the Trinamool leader was killed in this way because he could not tolerate the fight against corruption. Within 24 hours of the BJP worker’s unusual death, the police arrested three people.
