The exchange of jerseys between the two teams at the end of the match is one of the most beautiful scenes in football. Gifting jerseys to fans after matches is not new. Manchester City had to burn a bit of straw in the previous appearance at the Young Boys’ ground. In that match, the Young Boys kept City in check until the first half. Phil Foden’s goal is sandwiched between these two.
Young Boys captain Kamara was so impressed by Holland’s performance that he became a fan. So he looked for the jersey during the break. Holland is then heard saying, ‘You can’t do it.’ However, before heading to their dressing room, the jersey was gifted to Kamara.
