On the first day of the third phase of blockade called by BNP and like-minded parties, Jamaat-e-Islami leaders and activists were chased by the police in the Baghopara area of ​​the Bogra-Rangpur highway and the sub-village area of ​​the second bypass road. At that time, the police fired rubber bullets and tear shells to control the situation.

It is reported that at least 10 Jamaat leaders were injured in Wednesday’s incident.

According to the police and eyewitnesses, a protest march was led by Jamaat-e-Islami Bogra City Branch Amir Principal Abidur Rahman Sohel by blocking the highway in the sub-village area of ​​Bogra II Bypass Highway. Shortly after the start of the march, police and DB police came and started firing rubber bullets at the activists. At that time, when the leaders and activists stood on the road, a chase took place. Later, the Jamaat activists moved away from the highway to avoid the unpleasant situation. During this time at least 6 activists were injured.

Around the same time, Jamaat-e-Islami activists blocked the highway and took out a protest march in Baghopara area of ​​Bogra-Rangpur highway. At the end of the procession, police appeared and fired tearshells and rubber bullets during the rally. Here too the leaders and activists quickly left the area to avoid the unpleasant situation. 4 activists were injured in this incident.
