Bangladesh: Again speed sacrifice common passenger. The bus went ahead crushing the autorickshaw. Eyewitnesses said that the bus was going at a reckless speed. 7 members of the same family died on the spot. Many were also injured.
The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon in Hathazari, Chittagong, Bangladesh. This tragic incident took place when an autorickshaw collided with a bus. Seven people of the same family who were in the auto were killed, 2 others were injured. Eyewitnesses said that the CNG autorickshaw was going towards Phatikchari and the bus was going towards Chittagong. Although the exact identity of the deceased was not known after the incident, later it was found that they all belong to the same family.
Hathajari police station OC Moniruzzaman said seven people were killed in the collision between bus and autorickshaw. The injured were taken to Chittagong Medical College. Eyewitnesses said that the accident happened due to reckless speed of bus and autorickshaw.
