The body of a former security guard named Monir Ahmed (75) was found in Chittagong University (CHBI) hill.
His body was found on the hill behind Chabi’s engineering faculty at around 3:30 pm on Tuesday (November 7).
Jagadish Rudra, a sweeper of the same faculty, first saw the body lying and informed everyone. Later the police went and rescued.

It is known that the deceased Monir Ahmed was a former security guard of Chabi. Police are at the scene to recover the body. Family members of the deceased are also present at the spot. It is believed that he went there to cut bamboo. However, the cause of death is not yet known.

Chabir chief security officer Abdur Razzak said that people from Hathajari police station came and took the body for postmortem. His body was found in the mountains. In this situation, if there is no postmortem, nothing can be said.
