Housewife’s body found in Brahmanbaria: Family claims she was beaten to death

A housewife named Saima Jerin (30) committed suicide by consuming curry tablets at her father-in-law’s house in Brahmanbaria. However, the victim’s family alleged that he was beaten to death. The incident took place in Gokarnaghat Dakshin Para area of ​​the city around 11 o’clock on Tuesday. Saima is the daughter of Abul Qasem of Chikhaghia Para, North Pairtala of Zerin city.
The police informed the relatives that 14 years ago, Hannan Mia, son of Gani Mia of Gokarnaghat Dakshin Para of the city, got married to Saima Jerin in a family affair. They have two daughters named Ramisha (12) and Rafisa (10). After marriage, husband and wife used to fight over dowry. Hannan beats Saima Jerin several times for dowry money. Sayma commits suicide by taking Jereen Keri’s tablet after being angry with Hannan about these issues.
However, Saima’s father Abul Kasem alleged that people from Hannan and father-in-law’s house beat Saima Zereen to death. Saima did not commit suicide by taking Kerry’s tablets, she was murdered. They will take legal action in this case.
In this regard, Sadar Model Police Station OC Aslam Hossain said that a housewife committed suicide due to a family dispute. The body has been kept in the hospital morgue. The exact cause of death will have to wait for the post-mortem report. Police were dispatched to the scene and to the hospital.
