Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will leave for the country on Tuesday night after participating in the International Conference on Women in Islam and performing Umrah.
A Biman Bangladesh Airlines commercial flight carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage will depart Saudi Arabia’s King Abdulaziz International Airport at 10pm local time.
The flight is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 8 am on Wednesday.
Earlier on the afternoon of November 5, the Prime Minister landed at the Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah and visited the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW at the Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah and recited Fateha there after the Asr prayer.
Then he reached Makkah from Medina. Later, the Prime Minister performed the holy Umrah at Al Masjidul Haram (Kaaba Sharif) after Isha prayer.
On November 6, the Prime Minister attended the conference and gave a speech.
On the sidelines of the conference, he met with the top officials of OIC and member countries.
Besides attending the conference, she attended the opening of the Women in Islam exhibition and attended a dinner in its honour.
