Dhaka: DMP’s Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit (CTTC) said that police constable Amirul Haque Parvez was killed on the orders of the central leaders of BNP and Chhatra Dal at the BNP rally on October 28.
The attack was led by Aman Ullah Aman, joint general secretary of Central Chhatra Dal and former member secretary of Dhaka University Chhatra Dal.
After the incident, he sent the photo of the police killing to the party high command through apps.
DMP’s Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit (CTTC) arrested Aman Ullah Aman from Mohakhali in the capital on Monday (November 6) night.

Asaduzzaman said based on the preliminary interrogation of the arrested Aman, Aman sent the pictures of the police killing to the high command through apps after the incident. He even posted this picture on Facebook. There his followers wrote, ‘This team’s cannon, Aman Ullah Aman’.
Arrested Aman will be sent to the court and a remand application will be filed, the additional police commissioner said, he will be extensively interrogated by remand. We got the names of those who were with him at that time. Our operation to arrest them is also continuing.
This CTTC official also said that despite being attacked on the day of the incident, police constable Amirul did not use his weapon to avoid major damage.
When asked to whom the pictures were sent through apps after Amirul’s murder, he said, “We will not say it specifically for the sake of investigation.” Not for the sake of the next operation. He not only implemented or led the directives, but also took part in the attack wearing a helmet and carrying a stick.
According to CTTC, Aman Ullah Aman killed policeman Amirul Haque Parvez on the orders of BNP High Command. Central leaders wanted to create an unstable atmosphere in the country by killing one or more policemen if necessary, so that a new issue could arise. Based on this, police constable Amirul Haque Parvez was killed in a clash in Nayapaltan on October 28, centered on a BNP rally.
The CTTC official also said that on the day of the incident, the policemen tried to repel the attack by throwing tear shells in self-defense, but showed maximum tolerance by refraining from using weapons. And the assailants continued to brutally beat the frozen body of Constable Parvez to ensure death.
