Another classmate Siam Hossain also lost his life after the death of motorcycle rider Mitul Hossain in a collision with an engine driven Karimon in Ishwardi in Pabna. Both are 15 years old.
Siam Hossain died on Monday (November 6) at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital around 1 am.
Earlier on Monday, the accident took place at Baharpur area of Ishwardi-Pabna highway at around 9:30 am.
Siam Hossain Ishwardi is a 10th class student of dress making department of Ishwardi Government Vocational Textile Institute and son of Shihab Sardar of Naodapara village. Apart from this, another seriously injured classmate, Vishal Hossain, is under treatment in ICU at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
According to family sources, 3 friends were going to take the exam on a motorcycle around 9:30 am on Monday. On the way, their motorcycle met with an accident in Baharpur on the Ishwardi-Pabna highway in a collision with an engine driven Karimon. Mitul Hossain, a class 10 student of Ishwardi Government Vocational Textile Institute, died on the spot among the 3 passengers.
Siam and Vishal Hossain were admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in a critical condition. Siam died at around 1 o’clock while undergoing treatment there. The condition of Vishal Hossain under treatment is critical.
Umm Habiba, a doctor at Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex, said that Mitul died on the spot of the accident. Siam, who was seriously injured, also died in the night. And Vishal is under treatment at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. His condition is critical.
Rafiqul Islam, Superintendent of Ishwardi Government Vocational Textile Institute, said that the 2 people who died in the road accident were students of class 10 of my school. 3 of them were coming on the same motorcycle to take the test in the morning. This is sad. On behalf of the school, my condolences and condolences to the family.
