Former police officer Nirmalkumar Das (69) was standing next to an empty car at Thakurpukur 3A bus stand yesterday. He was standing with his wife saying that they would go to their garden house in Burul. Then the tragic event happened.
At that time, the luxury bus suddenly hit the back of the bus on route number 235. The private bus lost control and hit an empty car. And that car kind of crushed Nirmalkumar Das. Relatives of the deceased alleged that even after the accident, no one came forward for help. Later, after a green policeman rescued the elderly and took them to a local private hospital, they allegedly did not admit them. They drove away from there.
Grandfather of Nirmalkumar Das said, “Grandparents came out to go to Bagan home. At that time such an incident happened. Green police eventually admitted the grandfather to the hospital. He died there.” Incidentally, a bus of route number 235 was going from Taratala to Pailan yesterday. At that time, a luxury bus suddenly hit the back of the bus near Thakurpukur 3 bus stand. Then the passenger bus lost control. The bus hit a private car and a police car in front. Several people were injured in the incident.
