Now I aim for my next project. As much as the audience has adopted Mithai, the challenge is now in front of me to adopt the next character as much.

You asked for a break, did the news that Mithai was on the air again surprise you?

That’s right, I wanted a break. Because everyone had such a sweet taste, that I felt that I had to hide from everyone’s eyes to become a new character. (Said with a smile) I am doing another film, the character is different, the audience said ‘Oi toh Mithai…’. It is as happy as it is to feel bad for the new character. Because I or we (Team Mithai) have increased the demand of the audience. So much love for Mithai, that’s the benchmark for me now, I need to work harder to establish my other characters like this. I tried that. Now I am Rumi out of Mithai. But I also heard this news like you. I wanted a break. I wanted to stay behind for a while in the small screen to big screen tour, and I got it.
