Railway project–It is said to have spoken to the concerned officials, In 2010, a 128 km railway project was taken up from Chittagong’s Dohazari to Ramu to Kongbazar and from Ramu to Ghumdum, the Myanmar border. There is a railway line from Dhaka to Kongbazar till Dohazari in Chittagong since the British period. In 2016, after revising the project proposal, the cost of this project was fixed at 18 thousand 34 crores. The construction of this government priority project started in July 2018. Several of the 9 stations are still under construction. The duration of the project is till June 2024. The Asian Development Bank has given financial support to this project (ADB).
