Two people, including the bride, were killed in a separate road accident in Khulna. These accidents took place in Phultala and Paikgacha upazilas of Khulna on Monday (November 6).

The deceased are Mithu Munsi (30), son of Abu Zafar Munsi of Paigram in Phultala and Ayesha Khatun (17), bride of Saddam in Pratapkati area of ​​Kapilmuni.

Police and eyewitnesses said that Mithu Munshi was coming towards Phultala market on a motorcycle at around 7:15 pm today. At that time, while overtaking a van by crossing the police station gate, he was crushed by the wheels of a truck (Jeshor-T-11-3334) coming from the opposite direction and died on the spot. Immediately after the incident, the driver and the helper left the truck and ran away.

Paikgacha Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam said that on Monday morning, Ayesha was going to her father’s house on a motorcycle with her husband. At that time, upon reaching Vedamari area of ​​Agarghata upazila, housewife Ayesha was killed by buschapa while crossing the road to get oil for her motorcycle. Saddam, the housewife’s husband, was seriously injured in this incident.
