Stock market listed companies Bangladesh (BD) Thai Aluminum Limited and Phas Finance and Investment Limited have disappointed the shareholders.
After reviewing the audited financial reports for the years ended July 2022 to June 2023 and January to December 2022, the company decided not to pay any dividend to the shareholders.
On Monday (November 6), Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) informed this information.
According to DSE data, the BD Thai aluminum company posted a loss of 52 paise per share for the year ended June 30. The board of the company declared ‘no dividend’ due to losses. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) stood at 2 paise in the same period of the previous year in 2022.
The company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) date has been fixed on December 27 for unanimous approval of the dividend declared by the board of shareholders. AGM will be held on digital platform on that day. The record date has been set for November 26.
The company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 27.84 paise as on June 30 in the year-on-year decline in profits. Which was 28 taka 33 paisa in the same period of 2022.
Another company Fass Finance and Investment Limited’s board has declared ‘no dividend’ for the year 31 December 2022. The company showed a loss per share of Rs 47 84 paisa for the outgoing year. Which was 19 taka 94 paisa in the same period of 2021.
The company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) date has been fixed on December 21 for unanimous approval of the dividend declared by the board of shareholders. AGM will be held on digital platform at 11 am on that day. The record date has been set for November 26.
Net asset value per share of the company stood at negative Tk 86 14 paisa as of June 30 for the year of declining profits. Which was 33 taka 32 paisa at the same time of 2022.
