Meanwhile, the body of son Shah Abir (7) was recovered from Kirtinasha river in Bhojeshwar port area on Monday morning. Mother Salma Begum has not been found yet.
According to Naria police station and local sources, on Sunday morning due to a family dispute Salma Begum (30), wife of Ajbahar Madbar, an employee of jute shop in Bhojeshwar port, and her three children son Shah Abir (7), daughter Anika (3) and Cholayman (1) were taken for vaccination. Set out for the purpose. Then got down from the autorickshaw and jumped into the river with three children.
Locals rescued children Anika and Solaiman on Sunday. The body of local missing Shah Abir was caught in the fishermen’s net this morning. After receiving the information, Nariya Khana police recovered the body. The body of mother Salma Begum could not be recovered even in the last 2 days.
Local Habibur Rahman Maghdam said that the body of the missing child Shah Abir was caught in the fishermen’s net in the Kirtinasha river in Bhojeshwar port area this morning. Later, Naria police handed over the body to his family.
Hafizur Rahman, OC of Naria police station said, we recovered the body of child Shah Abir at 10 am on Monday. However, Salma Begum’s body has not yet been recovered. Our rescue operation is ongoing.
