The name of the deceased housewife is Amena Begum (23). She is the daughter of Shri Gyan Chand of Jorgach New Bazar area of Ramana Model Union. Amena Begum converted to Islam in 2015. Since then there was no family contact with the family.
After conversion, Amena Begum had been living in a house in people’s house for the last three years in Purba Mudafat police station area of the same union. Then a year ago, the initiative of the social organization made a tin house. He lived there ever since. However, Amena Begum married for the first time after converting to Islam a few years ago. However, the family could not live for long, the husband died. Then last 17 days ago, he got married to Shahabuddin, son of Abtab Uddin of Hatia Bhavesh area of Ulipur Upazila and lived in Amena’s house.
According to the police, after seeing the body of a newlywed bride locked in the bedroom in the East Mudafathana area of Ramna Model Union, the chairman went to the spot and broke the lock of the bedroom and entered to find the body of Amena Begum. However, the police said that the husband of the newlywed was not found.
Golam Ashek Aka, chairman of Ramna Model Union, said that when people called from that area in the afternoon, I went to the spot and saw Amena’s body on the bed in the bedroom through the locked window. After that I reported to the police station and broke the door lock with the police and entered inside.
In this regard, Additional Superintendent of Police (Ulipur Circle) Mohammad Mohibul Islam said, we came to the spot as soon as we got the news. First of all I complete Surathal.
