Israel launched an airstrike on an ambulance convoy near al-Shifa hospital in besieged Gaza. At least 15 people were killed and 60 wounded in the attack, according to the Health Ministry of Hamas-ruled Gaza.
On the other hand, Israeli forces attacked a school that shelters homeless Palestinians in the early hours of the morning. Gaza’s health ministry said at least 20 people were killed and 14 wounded in the attack.

Gaza’s health ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra said on Friday that a fleet of ambulances was taking seriously injured patients from al-Shifa hospital to the Rafah border crossing with Egypt. At that time, Israeli air strikes were carried out.
“We told everyone, including the Red Cross, Red Crescent, that it was a medical convoy carrying the wounded,” he said.
Meanwhile, the UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has condemned the terrible attack on the ambulance in Gaza. The UN statement described the attack on the ambulance fleet as ‘horrifying’.
In a statement, Guterres said the attack on the ambulance fleet outside the Al-Shifa hospital was “extremely alarming,” CNN reported.
The bodies of people lying on the streets outside the hospitals are very appalling, said the UN Secretary-General.
The UN Secretary General called for an immediate end to the bombing of Gaza.
“For almost a month, civilians in Gaza, including children and women, have been under siege,” he said. No help is being given, killings are being done and their homes are being bombed. It must be stopped.’
Israel claimed responsibility for the attack on the ambulance fleet outside al-Shifa hospital. They claimed that Hamas was using these ambulances. However, they could not show any evidence in favor of the claim.
