Police recovered the body of a college student named Reema Akhtar from the hospital in Faridganj of Chandpur on Friday. Rima Rupsa was the daughter of Rasul Ahmed of Sahebganj village in South Union and a student of Girdkalindiya Hazera Hasmat Degree College. He did not take the HSC exam this year due to unknown reasons. Family members claim that Reema committed suicide in frustration. However, the police recovered the body from the hospital to solve the mystery. The police recovered the hanging body of a youth named Hakeem Mia (21) in Durgapur of Netrokona on Friday. He is the son of Umar Farooq of Burunga area of Durgapur town. Family members said that Hakeem went missing after eating food on Thursday night. The dead body of an expatriate named Mamunur Rashid Mamun has been recovered from Daganbhuan in Feni. His body was recovered from the road adjacent to Jailskar 4 BGB camp on Thursday night. Mamun is the son of deceased Borhan Uddin of North Barahigobind area. He used to drive CNG-powered auto-rickshaws after returning from abroad. Brother Ziaul Haque said Mamun was suffering from heart disease and diabetes. OC (Investigation) Mohammad Russell Mia said that a case of wrongful death has been registered in the police station. The police recovered the body of a joint trader named Zafar Sharif from Ghaskhet in Alfadanga of Faridpur. The body was recovered from Mithapur, Ward No. 9 of Alphadanga Municipality on Thursday evening. Zafar Sharif is the son of deceased Seken Sharif of Kusumadi area of Ward No. 8 of Municipality. It is known that Zafar Sharif went missing on Wednesday. His body was recovered on Thursday and sent to Faridpur morgue for autopsy, said OC Mohammad Abu Taher.
