Dhaka: The Bangladesh Embassy in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, celebrated ‘Prison Killing Day’ with due dignity.
At the beginning of the ceremony organized at the embassy on Friday (November 3), the four main national leaders of the expatriate government led by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmad, Captain Muhammad Mansoor Ali and Abul Hasnat Muhammad Kamaruzzaman prayed for the forgiveness of the soul of the great liberation war and prayed according to their respective religions. is done
Ambassador of Bangladesh assigned to Thailand at the event. At the beginning of his speech, Abdul Hai paid deep respect to the memory of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the greatest Bengali nation father of a thousand years, other martyred members of his family and four national leaders.
The ambassador mentioned in his speech that jail killing is a tragic incident in the history of Bangladesh which is unprecedented in the history of the world. He attached special importance to presenting the true history of their contribution to the present generation of Bangladesh. He strongly condemned this brutal killing. The Ambassador recalled with deep respect the contribution of the four leaders in the Great War of Liberation.
Embassy Minister (Political) and Deputy Head of Mission Maleka Parveen and Counselor (Economic) Sarwar Ahmed Salehin participated in the event.
On the occasion, Minister (Political) and Deputy Head of Mission Maleka Parveen said that the four national leaders were soldiers of Bangabandhu’s ideals. Their contribution to the great liberation war of Bangladesh and the building of a new state after independence is undeniable. They were true patriots, their blood could not go in vain. Their contribution will always be remembered with respect by the nation.
Counselor (Economic) Sarwar Ahmed Salehin said that four national leaders were killed to destroy the spirit of the liberation war. He prayed for the salvation of the souls of the four leaders.
