Dhaka: In the last 24 hours, 10 more people have died due to dengue. On this day, 1 thousand 357 people were admitted to hospital due to dengue infection.
This information was informed in a press release about dengue sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Friday (November 3).
It is said that in the last 24 hours, 1 thousand 357 people have been admitted to the hospital due to dengue infection. Among them, 355 people are in Dhaka and 1 thousand two outside Dhaka.
In the notification, 1,350 dengue patients have been discharged from the hospital in the last 24 hours. Among them, 345 people are in Dhaka and 1,500 outside Dhaka.
It was also informed that 10 people died due to dengue in the last 24 hours. Among them four are in Dhaka and six are outside Dhaka.
This year, 1,380 people died due to dengue. Among them, 820 people are in Dhaka and 560 people are outside Dhaka.
As of November 3 this year, 276,163 people have been affected by dengue. Among them, 1 lakh 287 people are in Dhaka and 1 lakh 75 thousand 876 people outside Dhaka.
So far this year, two lakh 68 thousand 516 dengue patients have received clearance from the hospital. Among them, 97 thousand 699 people are in Dhaka and 170 thousand 817 people outside Dhaka.
Currently, 6,267 dengue patients are admitted in hospitals across the country. Among them 1 thousand 768 people in Dhaka and 4 thousand 499 people outside Dhaka.
It is said that this year, the rate of getting clearance from the hospital due to dengue is 97 percent. Hospitalization rate is two percent. The death rate is zero and five percent.
From January 1 to December 31 last year, the number of patients admitted to various hospitals in the country was 62 thousand 382 and 281 people died due to dengue.
