Another 1,903 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue fever in the last 24 hours (Tuesday 8 am to Wednesday 8 am). 384 people have been admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, and 1519 people have been admitted to different hospitals outside Dhaka. At the same time, 7 more people died of dengue.
This information was informed in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Wednesday (November 1).
It is said in the notification that at present, a total of 6 thousand 346 dengue patients are under treatment in various public and private hospitals of the country. There are currently 1,708 dengue patients admitted in public and private hospitals in Dhaka and 4,638 dengue patients in other hospitals.
This year, 2 lakh 73 thousand 78 patients have been admitted and treated in hospitals due to dengue infection. Among them, 99 thousand 553 people have received treatment in Dhaka and 1 lakh 73 thousand 525 people outside Dhaka.
2 lakh 65 thousand 377 people have recovered from the hospital and returned home. 97 thousand 33 in Dhaka and 1 lakh 68 thousand 344 outside Dhaka have recovered and returned home.
1355 people have died due to dengue this year.
