Symbolic imageThe police recovered the body of a young man (32) after cutting the tin roof of a house in Mymensingh city. The body was recovered from the house near Akua Habul Bepari intersection on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased Mahmudul Hasan Bappi is the son of Riaz Uddin of Bara Kalyan area of Kendua upazila of Netrokona district. He passed graduation. He was supposed to go to UK in two-three months.
Although his elder brother Mizanur Rahman rented the ground floor of that house, Mahmud Hasan Bappi lived in a tin-shaded room on the roof of the fifth floor.
Zahirul Haque Munna, in-charge of police outpost number 3 of Mymensingh city, confirmed this information. He said about Mizanur Rahman, Bappi has not been seen in contact or meeting anyone for the last two days. Not finding his brother on the phone, he went to the roof and searched. At that time, he called the National Emergency Service 999 after smelling bad smell from that room.
He also said that after receiving the news, he went to the spot and saw the body of Mahmud Hasan Bappi lying on the bed. Later, the police recovered his body and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Inspector Zahirul Haque Munna said, it is believed that Mahmud Hasan Bappi died two to three days ago. The cause of death will be known after the post-mortem. Legal action is pending in this case.
