Kolkata: Assembly Speaker Biman Banerjee wrote to the CAB to issue tickets to MLAs for the Indian team’s match at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. He informed the CAB to give at least one ticket each to 293 MLAs of the Vidhan Sabha. But the CAB has not yet issued any ticket for the MLAs. The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly also expressed his anger over this. CAB president Snehashis Gangopadhyay came to the assembly on Wednesday to talk about the issue.
Wanted tickets for 293 MLAs. The Speaker wrote to the CAB in this regard. But the speaker expressed anger that not a single ticket came. CAB President showed a positive attitude in this regard. However, the ticket has not yet arrived in the assembly. But the ticket is believed to come after Snehashis’ meeting with the speaker. The MLAs will be informed through the parliamentary party if the ticket comes. MLAs can come and collect their tickets.
In this regard, Speaker Biman Banerjee said, “We sent a letter from the Assembly to the CAB president. Such a big game is being played near the assembly. But we were not given any complimentary tickets. We requested that tickets be issued. For that Snehashis Gangopadhyay came to our office today. And he said he would help as much as he could. You can collect the tickets from our office when the tickets arrive.” However, the CAB president did not tell the media about this.
