This information was informed in the notification sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Wednesday.
1 thousand 903 people have been admitted to hospital with dengue in 24 hours till this morning.
With this, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospital this year has reached 273 thousand 78 people.
At present, a total of 6 thousand 346 dengue patients are under treatment in different hospitals of the country.
Analyzing the data of the Department of Health and IEDCR, it can be seen that the official statistics of dengue cases and deaths so far this year have broken all the records of the last 24 years.
On September 20, 21 people died of dengue fever, the highest number of deaths in a single day. Earlier, on September 2, the Department of Health reported the highest death toll of 21 people in a single day due to dengue.
