The year 16 student was studying in a private college in Chaitanyapuri. He had to do better in the exams, the college teachers told him again and again. The student could not take that pressure. A dream died in the middle. The hanging body of the student was recovered from his house around 8 am on Wednesday. A letter was also found with it. The student apologized to his mother and father. Besides, the mother requested the father not to send the brother to that college. At the same time, the student’s letters were peppered with pressure on how he should do better in the exam every day. In the letter, the student claimed that this was done by the general staff of the college, starting from the principal and vice principal.

The people of the house were shocked to see this scene when they entered the son’s house in the morning. The student was rushed to the nearest hospital. But by then it was all over. Doctors declared him dead. The deceased student also made it clear in the letter that he succumbed to the pressure of the college. The police filed a case based on this letter. Inspector K Kiran Kumar of Meerpet police station said, “Family members complained that the principal and vice principal of the college regularly pressured the student to get better results in the examination. Based on that, we have registered a case.”

Lately, the pressure of reading has become rampant among young students to commit suicide. Kota in Rajasthan has been named as one of the best places to prepare for higher education in India. There has also been a commotion due to the suicide of one student after another. Experts say, good results must be done. Students cannot always keep up with the expectations of parents.
