Dhoni who knows Bengali told the story of fooling the cricketers

This former captain said there, ‘I understood Bengali very well while working in railways in Kharagpur. It may be wrong to say now. Some may feel bad about it.’

Then recalling the game against the Bangladesh cricket team, he said, ‘We were playing a match in Bangladesh. I was batting. They did not know that I understand Bengali. The wicketkeeper was yelling from one side and saying something to the fast bowler. I also understand what you will say. So after the match they were talking among themselves. Seeing my reaction, they were like, Hey, Bengali can understand this!’

The audience in the hall burst into laughter after hearing the incident. Dhoni played 34 matches between 2004 and 2016 in three editions in Bangladesh. Won 25 matches.
