Kolkata: Sujaykrishna Bhadra alias Kaku of Kalighat will be summoned by ED (Enforcement Directorate) next week. Summons for questioning in Recruitment Scam case. According to ED sources, he has been summoned to the ED office of CGO Complex on Tuesday, May 30. Besides, the ED has also summoned Gnanand Samant and civic volunteer Rahul Bera in the same case. Last Saturday, ED also searched the house of Bibirbhat, member of South 24 Parganas District Council of Trinamool, Gnananda Samant.

Recently CBI also came and searched his flat. At that time, CBI seized several lakhs of cash from Kaku’s house. He, however, claimed that the sister took the money to pay the hospital admission and medical bills. An admit card was also recovered from his house. He claimed that it was the admit card given to his sister-in-law’s son for taking the municipal job examination. Apart from this, CBI has also seized one of his phones.

One after another, the names of heavyweights have come to the fore in the recruitment corruption probe. Similarly, the name of Sujaykrishna Bhadra, Kaku of Kalighat, was first heard in the mouth of Gopal Dalpati. While investigating, his name first came to the hands of the investigating officers as Kaku of Kalighat. A few days ago, the CBI officials made his violin at home. Earlier, the CBI had summoned Sujaykrishna to the Nizam Palace for questioning. Later he and his family members were also sent for bank documents. Sujaykrishna also claimed that he submitted those documents to the CBI. This time the Enforcement Directorate appeared at Sujaykrishna’s house.
