Indian head coach Rahul Dravid has made it clear that no player will be rested before the T20 World Cup. India have rotated and rested star players in some series in recent times with workload management in mind.

India’s head coach has given a clear message that it will not be done without injuries. India will face arch rival Pakistan today in the Super Four of the Asia Cup. The seven-time champions of the Asia Cup will play a full strength team from this match till the World Cup.

In a press conference before facing Pakistan, Dravid said, ‘If there is no injury or no injury or no one is forced out; We are here to field with our best XI. The same will happen in the next four matches. We will go with the best possible team.’

He further added, ‘There will be no workload management in the next three-four days. Unless something unavoidable happens. An example can be said about Ravindra Jadeja. Without something like that, we wouldn’t have workload management.’

“We will play every match to win the tournament and do everything possible for that.” Then we will have time to manage the workload. From now until the World Cup we always want to field our best XI.’
