In-form Sunrisers Hyderabad lost against bottom-of-the-table Royal Challengers Bangalore. They suffered a big shock. Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins did not speak to his teammates after this loss.

In the current IPL, Hyderabad have scored more than 250 runs three times in seven matches before the game against Bengaluru. They scored the most (287) and second most (277) runs in the history of IPL this season. But they could not do that against Bengaluru. Batting first, Bengaluru scored 206 runs. After going down to bat, Hyderabad lost by 35 runs. Even after this loss, they are number three in the points list.
