IPL 2024 | Former cricketer Dale Steyn criticized Hardik Pandya’s captaincy dgtl

Dale Steyn is upset with five-time IPL winners Mumbai Indians. The former South African bowler is more upset with captain Hardik Pandya. Without naming names, Steyn feels that there is no change in Hardik even after one defeat of Mumbai.

Steyn criticized Mumbai after their 9-wicket loss against Rajasthan Royals. He wrote on social media, “I look forward to the day when the players will tell the truth. Say whatever comes to your mind. By not doing so we fool ourselves and say the same thing. Speak in such a way that there is no controversy. A team loses a match, laughs at the loss, then repeats the same stupidity.”

While Steyn named someone, his allusion was to Mumbai and Hardik. Hardik is seen laughing repeatedly after losing the match. Earlier, Kevin Pietersen criticized the Mumbai captain. On the day of the Chennai vs Mumbai match, he said, “Nothing is right. I saw Hardik smiling a lot during the toss. But he is not right. I say it is not right. It is Mumbai’s home ground. He is being teased there. Here the whole field is screaming for Chennai. This is hard to accept. He is human. He has emotions. I know what it’s like to be in a situation like that. Mumbai scored 179 runs by batting first against Rajasthan on Monday. The early batters did not get a run. Tilak Verma and Nehal Wadhera scored some runs in between. In reply, Rajasthan Royals went to bat to win the match by 9 wickets. Yasswi Jaiswal scored a century. Even after that match, Hardik was seen smiling.
