The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has changed the entire coaching staff due to the failure of the World Cup. Australia-New Zealand tour is waiting ahead.
Mohammad Hafeez has been given the responsibility of head coach for this tour. This time two former cricketers of the country Umar Gul and Saeed Ajmal have got the responsibility of pace and spin bowling coach.
Before this, Gul has handled the responsibility of Pakistan’s pace bowling coach. His tenure was till the series against Afghanistan this year. On the other hand, Azam is starting his coaching career for the first time in international cricket. The spinner, who has taken 447 wickets in three formats for Pakistan, was earlier the coach of PSL franchise Islamabad United.
Pakistan’s three-match Test series against Australia will begin on December 14. Then they will go to New Zealand to play a five-match T20 series.
