Around 100,000 people visited the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday to watch the game. All Indian fans had eyes on the World Cup final. One fan wrote on social media that Warner broke their hearts. Warner wrote back, “I apologize. I played a great match. The atmosphere was very good. India has organized a very good tournament. Thank you all.” After Warner’s reply, however, the fan deleted his post. As a result, Warner’s post was also deleted. Warner scored 535 runs in 11 matches in this World Cup.
