Kurigram: Two more teachers and an office assistant of Bhurungamari Nehal Uddin Pilot High School have been arrested in connection with the leak of SSC examination question papers in Bhurungamari Upazila of Kurigram.

The arrested are – Sohail Al Mamun, teacher of Bengali subject of that school, teacher of physical science subject Hamidul Islam and office assistant Sujan Mia.

A total of 6 people were arrested in this incident.

On Thursday (September 22), two teachers and office assistants arrested were sent to Kurigram court. They were taken to the police station for questioning on Wednesday (September 21) but were later shown arrested.

Meanwhile, Dinajpur Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Dinajpur Education Board’s college inspector said. A three-member investigation team has already left for Bhurungamari after summoning Faraz Uddin Talukdar.

Other members of the investigation team are Deputy Controller of Examinations (UMA) Prof. Md. Harun Or Rashid Mondal and Deputy Director of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Rangpur Region. Aktaruzzaman.

Kurigram district education officer on behalf of the director general in this incident on Thursday morning. Shamchul Alam attended the school and started preliminary investigation. He recorded the statements of Assistant Headmaster Khalilur Rahman and other teachers.

At this time, he told reporters that no one involved in the question paper leak cycle will be spared. Departmental action will be taken against those involved.

On Tuesday, three teachers including the headmaster and central secretary Lutfar Rahman of the school were arrested and the question papers of mathematics, agriculture, physical science and chemistry were recovered. Later, the Dinajpur Education Board announced the postponement of those four exams.
