In Gopalganj’s Kotalipara, two students have been temporarily expelled from the school as their kissing pictures went viral on social media Facebook.
An expulsion notice was published on a Facebook ID of Hiran Panchapally High School on Wednesday (August 24) night. It has the signature of Headmaster Swapan Kumar Mandal.
The notice stated that the involvement of the two students in unethical activities and its spread on social media has tarnished the image of the school environment. According to the decision of the school authorities, they were temporarily expelled from the school for this crime. At the same time, all other students studying in the school were warned.
Several students of the school said on condition of anonymity that a love relationship developed between the two students. They went on a tour a few days ago. There is a kissing picture taken. Recently their relationship broke up. Enraged by this, the lover left the earlier kiss photo on social media Facebook. Which went viral on Facebook.
Meanwhile, the temporarily expelled boyfriend said, ‘I did not leave the photo of the kiss with that girl on the social media Facebook. I do not know who or who left.’
Swapan Kumar Mandal, head teacher of the school said, ‘The picture of the two students kissing has gone viral on social media Facebook. This caused a commotion in the area. At some point the picture comes to us. Many rumors started among the students of the school.
He said, ‘The teachers of the school objected to keep those two students in the class. Later, a meeting of the school managing committee was called. In the meeting, the student said it was her picture.
Swapan Kumar Mondal also said, ‘According to the decision of the managing committee, those two students have been temporarily expelled by resolution. They were not given TC. The members of the managing committee are discussing with the parents of the two students. If they agree and say something, the managing committee will sit and take further decisions about them.’
Upazila Secondary Education Officer Siddique Noor Alam said, ‘The expulsion of two students is not known. Further action will be taken knowing the matter.’
