Chuadanga: Since the beginning of Baisakh, sometimes mild to moderate, sometimes severe to very severe heat waves are flowing over Chuadanga. But breaking all the records of this season, the temperature of this district stood at 42.7 degrees Celsius.

The heat wave is very intense. The people of the border districts are suffering from continuous heat. Everyone has become bitter in the unbearable heat.

The regional weather observatory in Chuadanga recorded a temperature of 42.7 degrees Celsius at 3 pm on Friday (April 26). At that time the air humidity was 11 percent. Which is the highest temperature in the whole country till 3 pm.

The sun spreads heat from the beginning of the day. As the day goes on, the heat level gets intense. The heat does not subside immediately even as the evening sets in. All day long as fire falls from the sky. The light of the fire blows in the air. Reduced traffic pressure on the road. Common people are excited by the breath of summer.

Alamgir Alam, an easybike driver of the city, said that it seems like flames are rising from the road. Again the sun is weaving everything overhead. Just driving a little makes you tired. Have to rest under the tree and start working again.

Meanwhile, the intensity of the sun is so high that the pitch of the road has started melting. With the increase in heat, the number of patients in upazila health centers including Chuadanga Sadar Hospital is increasing every day. Among these admitted patients, the number of children is high.

Jaminur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Chuadanga Meteorological Office, said that a severe heat wave is flowing over Chuadanga. This situation may continue till April 30. But there is no sign of rain or storm right now.
