At least 10 people were killed when two navy helicopters collided in Malaysia. Two helicopters collided in mid-air on Tuesday morning (April 23) during a military exercise to take part in a naval parade. British media reported the news.
According to a statement from the Navy, the 90th anniversary of the Royal Malaysian Navy will be held in May. On this occasion, two helicopters took part in a military exercise.
It is believed that the other helicopter hit the rotor clip of one helicopter before it went down. Soon after, two helicopters crashed and fell down.

The statement also said that the incident took place at 9:30 am local time in Lumut town in the western Perek province of Malaysia. There is a naval base in the city.
All 10 crew members in the helicopter were killed. The Navy said they were taken to Lumut Army Hospital for identification.
In the meantime, the video footage of the collision between the two helicopters has spread on social media. However, the Navy requested the public to be sensitive to the families of the victims and refrain from sharing harmful videos for the sake of investigation.
