However, the field umpires take the review by themselves. They want to be sure whether to say no or not. The third umpire sees the ball below Virat’s waist. As a result, he did not give a no ball. The decision of the field umpire stands. Virat got angry at that.

Topli said in the press conference after the game, “These issues are being brought to cover the gap in the rules. No one thought of what happened before. Kohli was out of the crease. At that time the ball was higher than his waist. Virat’s waist was measured while inside the crease. But the ball hit outside the crease. There is a loophole in the rules here. In a match where the win-loss margin is only 1 run, this question will arise.”

RCB captain Faf Duplessis, however, does not want to think too much about the incident. At the end of the match, he said, “A wonderful event. But the rule is the rule. We have to accept that. According to Virat and I, the ball was above the waist. Umpires seem to measure the batter’s height from the popping crease (the spot outside which the batter can be stumped). Some think it goes above the waist. No one thought it was possible. This can happen in the match. We are not willing to think too much about it.”

After getting out, however, Virat did not want to accept. He is seen moving towards the umpires in a very aggressive manner. He didn’t want to admit that he was out.
