Sunrisers Hyderabad are making record after record in the current IPL. In the batting rampage, the title ‘Runraisers’ has also been added to the name of the franchise. Yesterday (Saturday) Travis Header set the world record for the highest run in any T20 cricket in the Powerplay against Delhi Capitals. Two Hyderabad openers scored 125 runs without a wicket in 6 overs. They hit 13 fours and 11 sixes in 36 balls.

Hyderabad have already made three scores of more than 260 in the current season. Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar praised Hyderabad’s batting. On his social media account, Sachin said, ‘What is with Sunrisers Hyderabad that they alone have scored more than 260 runs three times in the current season! They completely defeated Delhi in today’s (yesterday’s) match.’

Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma batting tornado at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. From the first over of the innings, these two openers of Hyderabad went up. In the first 6 overs, the two batsmen scored 4 for 13. And there were 11 sixes. And 7 runs came from singles.

Sachin praised the opening pair. He said, ‘They must have batted brilliantly at the start with Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head and at the end Shahbaz Ahmed’s great finish. They bowled better than Delhi in the second half of the match, their bowling variety was effective. Sunrisers Hyderabad played well.’

However, Kuldeep Yadav did not allow Markram and Klassen to go far after the head and Abhishek’s rampage. Another explosive batting by Shahbaz Ahmed towards the end saw Hyderabad score the fourth highest total of 266 runs. Delhi opener Jack Fraser-McGurk created a storm in that run chase. But that was not enough, as Rishov Pantara lost by 67 runs.
