Bangladesh cricket team has returned home after the ongoing ODI World Cup in India. The chartered flight carrying the cricketers arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:30 am on Sunday (November 12). Due to flight delay, Bangladeshi cricketers landed 1 hour after the scheduled time.
Apart from the foreign coaching staff, the remaining members of the team management have also returned to the country. All the cricketers are back. Regular captain Shakibto returned to the country earlier.

In this year’s World Cup, Bangladesh went with the goal of playing in the semi-finals. Their mission began with victory. But as the days passed one by one the dream faded. In the end, Bangladesh finished the World Cup mission at number eight.
However, for full assurance of playing in the Champions Trophy, Bangladesh will have to look at today’s India-Netherlands match. If India wins, Bangladesh will be guaranteed the Champions Trophy from the eighth position in the table. And if they lose, the Netherlands will go to the Champions Trophy.
Even after returning home on Sunday, the Shanto-Litons are not getting much rest. Because the two-match Test series against New Zealand will begin in the last week of this month. The first match will be held in Sylhet on November 28. After that the last test will be held at Mirpur Sher Bangla Stadium. And the Kiwi team will set foot in Dhaka on November 22 to play two Tests.
