The third phase of the 48-hour blockade they have called ends at 6 am tomorrow (Friday).

The opposition parties could not be very active in this blockade program. Therefore, like-minded opposition parties and alliances including BNP have decided to change the program.

An organizing secretary of BNP told Dhaka Post on the condition of anonymity that people will get frustrated if the blockade continues. Leaders and activists will also be disappointed. The activists are not able to stay at home. So it has been decided to hold a two-day strike with a break of two days.

Meanwhile, like the last 13 days, BNP’s Nayapaltan central office is locked on Thursday as well.
