Saudi Arabia is going to hold three urgent summits on the ongoing crisis in the besieged Gaza Strip. Among them, a conference will be held only with Arab countries. Another will be about Islamic countries. And the other will be with the participation of African countries.
This information was reported by Al Jazeera, a Qatar-based news agency, citing Reuters.
However, the report did not specify the exact date when these summits will be held. It has only been said that Saudi Arabia will call for these conferences in the next few days.
Saudi Arabia’s Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih said these things at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum in Singapore. He said, within the next few days, Saudi Arabia will convene three emergency summits in Riyadh.
He also said Saudi Arabia will convene an emergency Arab summit in the capital Riyadh this week, in the next few days. Africa-Saudi Summit will be held. Then the Islamic summit will be held.
Khalid Al-Falih said that these three summits will be held under the leadership of Saudi Arabia in a short period of time. The purpose of these gatherings will be to discuss peaceful solutions to the conflict.
