Dhaka: Golden Life Insurance Limited is not giving money to the customer even after the expiry of the insurance policy. The company has been accused of not paying even though the 12-year policy period has expired in 2022.

Ruhul Amin, the insurance customer of the company, submitted a written complaint to the chairman of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) on October 5.

It is known that on December 28, 2010, Ruhul Amin took a 12-year policy in Golden Life Insurance. The total sum assured of this policy is one and a half lakh taka. The premium per year was 15 thousand 570 taka. Expires on December 28, 2022. But the company did not pay the due date despite repeated dates.

Ruhul Amin said, I have contacted the company several times. But they are delaying without paying. Compelled to complain to the chairman of IDRA.

When Amjad Hossain Khan Chowdhury, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Golden Life Insurance was asked about the complaints, he told Sonali News that there are many such complaints from customers. But not giving money is not right. Due to our fund crisis, payments are being made serially.
