HDFC Bank has changed some rules for its Regalia Credit Card. This rule is about lounge use of the card. Certain conditions must be met to get lounge access from December 1. Now anyone can enter the lounge based on regalia credit card spend only. Credit card users must spend Rs 1 lakh or more in a calendar quarter (January-March, April-June, July-September, October-December) to enter the lounge. That is, you can use the lounge only after making a transaction of one lakh rupees in a quarter.

Lounge access inside and outside India will no longer be available on the Regalia First card from December 1, 2023, the bank said on its website. Customer has to visit the Smart Buy page and Lounge Benefit page to claim the lounge voucher. Only then can he take advantage of it. According to the bank, customers can take lounge access on the card only if they fulfill the spending rules. You will only be able to access the lounge twice in a quarter.

Also keep in mind that a Visa or MasterCard Regalia First credit card will offer 8 complimentary lounge access per year. Users must swipe their Regalia First credit card for lounge access. If you access the lounge beyond the prescribed limit, you will be charged. A transaction fee of Tk 2 will be charged at the time of entering the lounge. 25 will be deducted from MasterCard customers’ cards but will be canceled later.
