The Palestinian independence movement Hamas has claimed to have destroyed four of its military vehicles in a battle with Israeli forces in the besieged Gaza Strip. Al Jazeera reported this information in a report on Wednesday (November 1).
Hamas fighters destroyed four Israeli military vehicles in Beit Hanoun in northeastern Gaza, Hamas said on Wednesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, the Israeli army IDF said that 11 Israeli soldiers were killed in the battle with Hamas. The IDF said 11 more Israeli soldiers were killed in Gaza on Tuesday. With this, the death toll has increased to 326 people. All these soldiers are between 19 and 20 years of age.
Israel has been indiscriminately bombarding Gaza since October 7 in response to the attacks of the Palestinian independence organization Hamas. The Israeli forces started a ground operation there last Saturday amid continuous bombings. Since the beginning of the ground operation in Gaza, there have been reports of intense fighting between Israeli forces and Hamas fighters.
More than 8,000 people have been killed in Gaza in just three weeks of Israeli attacks. There are 3,500 children among them. More children have been killed in Gaza in the past three weeks than have been killed in conflicts worldwide in any year since 2019, according to international children’s non-governmental organization Save the Children.
