When the popularity of band music peaked in the country, Miraj Khan and his friends took initiative to realize the collective dream. In 2000, their band called ‘Mati’ started their journey.
After its establishment, ‘Mati’ has gone through many ups and downs in two eras. Even though the band members juggled various careers to meet the demands of their busy lives, their insatiable passion for music never waned. In the midst of busyness, they gave their own 13 songs to the audience.
The songs have been released on CD and cassette as well as uploaded to their own channel on YouTube. Mati’s favorites are modern and folk music. Their songs also got a place in the mixed album. Lead vocalist Miraz Khan has also released a duet song. The performance of this band on stage in various events has won the hearts of the audience.
Mati is going to participate in a live show on television for the first time in a long journey. They will perform on NTV at 11:30 pm on April 25.
Miraj Khan, lead vocalist of ‘Mati’ band said, Our love for music has never decreased. A lot of time has passed. But we are re-energized with the promise of giving the listeners something better.
