Yuvraj Shamim, the director of ‘Adim’, won the award at the foreign film festival but is unable to release it in the theaters of the country.

Because he ‘doesn’t have the money’ to be a member of the board of directors. And if you are not a member of the association, the movie cannot be released in the theaters of the country.

The crowd-funded movie Adim recently won the ‘Netpack Jury Award’ at the Moscow International Film Festival.

Yuvraj Shamim appeared in a press conference on Thursday with the story of making his movie.

When asked by bdnews24.com when Aadim will be released in cinema halls of the country, Shamim said, “I am not a member of the director-producer association. There is no fee to be a member here. If they sign me up without money, that’s great.”

He said that no one has congratulated him from any association of FDC till now after winning the award.

Expressing the feeling of receiving the award, Yuvraj Shamim said, “I don’t understand why I got the award in Moscow.” When I went to Moscow, I had to wait 15-20 minutes at the airport. But when I returned after receiving the award, many people showed respect at the airport.”

“What I liked after returning home after winning the award was that the people around me or the people of the area, who did not give me much importance. Now they are laughing at me. They consider this victory as their victory. This is no less important to me than the victory in Moscow.”
