The newly elected committee of Bangladesh Film Artists Association for the term 2024-26 took oath today (April 23). The rest of the members took oath under the leadership of president Misha Saudagar at 5:30 pm in the open premises of BFDC. Earlier Chief Election Commissioner Khorshed Alam Khosru administered the oath to Misha.

Misha-Dipjal Parishad won the elections for the 2024-2026 term of Shilpi Samiti. Misha Saudagar got 265 votes for the post of president. The nearest candidate Mahmud Koli got 170 votes. Manowar Hossain Dipzal got 225 votes for the post of general secretary. Nipun Akhtar got 209 votes for the same position. This last general secretary was defeated by only 17 votes.
Besides, DA Taib (234) and Masum Parvez Rubel (231) as vice-presidents, Arman (237) as joint general secretary, Joy Chowdhury (255) as organizing secretary, Alexander Bo (296) as international affairs secretary, office and publicity secretary. Jackie Alamgir (245), Culture and Sports Secretary Mamnoon Hasan Imon (235) and Treasurer Kamal (231) won the post.
9 people have been elected from Misha-Dipzol Parishad as executive members. They are Sucharita (228), Rozina (243), Aliraj (239), Subrata, Dilara Yasmin (218), Shahnoor (245), Nana Shah (210), Ratna Kabir (263) and Chunnu (248).
Riana Parvin Poly (220) and Soni Rahman (230) were elected from Koli-Nipun Parishad.
