In a recent interview he said, “Pakistani artists should be allowed to come and work in India. They have talent. I am not saying that, Mumbai lacks talent. But, they too should be given a chance to work in Bollywood.”

A few days ago, Fawad Khan and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s picture with Mumtaz started being discussed on social media. The actress said that the pictures are not recent but quite old. But the memory of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Fawad Khan’s warm welcome in the neighboring country still fascinates him.

The actress went to meet Fawad while in Pakistan. Mumtaz said that Fawad had booked an entire restaurant to meet him. Rahat went to meet the actress despite his illness. The actress added, “They are not at all different from us. Everywhere I went, people showered me and my sister with love and gifts. They are aware of all my films and songs.”
