After being elected, they talked about various issues related to the film in the press conference. Among them was the issue of government-subsidized cinema. While talking to the media, Misha Saudagar demanded that 75 percent of government-subsidized films should be given to commercial films.

Misha Saudagar said in the press conference that day, ‘Our proposal will be 75 percent grant to be given to commercial movies. A part of the money should be returned from here, that assurance should be given. If the government gives one crore rupees, we will return 25 or 30 percent.’

At this time, Dipzol, who was sitting next to him, supported him. Dipzol said, ’40 lakhs are being given in the grant film. The cost of the film is 70-80 lakhs to 1 crore. Even 1 crore doesn’t make a good movie now.

It takes one and a half to two crores. Whoever brought the donation, ate 20 percent. If you eat 20 percent, you have 2 million. It’s a drama, not a good film. I think it is better to stop the donation. Government money is wasted. Not working well. Maybe the two are better off alone. All others are zero positions. Any pictures of the donation going on, say a name?’

At this time, the new general secretary Dipzol also demanded to reduce the tax on cinema halls. He said, ‘It takes 500 taka to buy a ticket. Can a rickshaw puller pay 500 taka to watch a film?’

Mentioning the difficulty of making a commercial film, Misha Saudagar said in the press conference, “At the end of the day, people who are fed up will clap their hands, say hooray, whistle… this kind of film does not happen.” Antel Marka pictures can be made if you wish. But hooray, it’s very difficult to make a whistle-blowing movie.’
